Running for Shoalhaven City Council

Well i did it. I put my name down to run for Council, on Paul Green's Independant team, as well as run for Mayor.

I am running for Council in hopes of being elected so i can continue to help fight for:

* The road safety concerns for Nowra East Public School
* East Nowra Sub-Arterial Road (ENSA)

* Increase safety in Nowra East and Carrington Park estate.

I feel if elected i can have the opportunity to help in these areas better.

As a mother and resident of Nowra, i understand the needs of the community.There is a strong need for:

* Increased Safety in all areasSporting facilities
* Better roads
* Recycling
* Employment
* Drainage
* Health - inc Mental Health
* Development
* Cycleways

This list is ever growing, but i feel that to really help with these issues is to VOTE in the team that will be committed to helping the community.

PAUL GREEN (Independant) is currently the Deputy Mayor for the Shoalhaven and is dedicated to the people.
He believes that "strong families build strong communities".

Paul is a loving husband to his wife, Michelle, and a great dad to 6 beautiful children aged (6-12). He has been on Council for 4 years and has gained the experience to be a great Mayor for the Shoalhaven.

A FEW OF OUR AIMS FOR NOWRA EAST

Paul Green and his team’s goals, if elected are:
* We aim to reduce the traffic pass the Nowra East Public
School.

* We aim to push the East Nowra Sub Arterial Road (ENSA)
to take traffic from the local streets of East Nowra, e.g.
Kalander St, and Journal St. and other surrounding streets
of Nowra East Public School

* Improve Community Spirit, bringing the residents of all ages
together.

* We aim to ensure safer pedestrian means for our kids and
those whom cannot rely on cars.

Together we can make our City a safe place to live, work, rest & play.
